Indiana Delegation Heads to Berlin with The International Center & Indiana Germanic-Business Council
(INDIANAPOLIS – October 30, 2025) – The International Center is leading an economic development delegation to Berlin, Germany, aimed at deepening international partnerships. From November 5 to 9, influential leaders from Indiana’s corporate, nonprofit, academic, and government sectors will participate in strategic meetings with German business and government officials. The visit will culminate in a marquee event: the Indianapolis Colts facing off against the Atlanta Falcons at Berlin’s Olympic Stadium on Sunday, November 9.
The delegation will meet with German executives and host panels and networking events to cultivate business opportunities between Indiana and Germany. In 2024, Indiana exported more than $3.8 billion in goods to Germany and is home to more than 120 German companies.
“This is a unique opportunity for Indiana’s leaders in a variety of fields to cultivate long and prosperous relationships with their German counterparts,” Martin Baier, President and CEO of The International Center, said. “These connections lead to future collaboration, drive innovation, and strengthen economic ties between our regions.”
A highlight of the visit will be the Team Indiana Business Summit, featuring executives from the Indianapolis Colts, Indy Chamber, and Indiana Germanic-Business Council sharing insights on transatlantic business opportunities. Indiana University will also host a sports panel and reception exploring how athletics can foster international connection and cultural exchange.
