Wabash County is a certified Welcoming County. As a participant in being a welcoming county, Wabash is hosting a Multicultural themed event for our September First Friday event. We invite the community to join in a free event that brings together families, friends, and loved ones in the Downtown Wabash area to revitalize community engagement and showcase all of the dining, shopping, exploring, art, and culture that we have to offer.
For this particular event, we will host a couple of live musicians playing a variety of music, a variety of food trucks, have a Hispanic paper flower artist helping event goers make paper flowers, various local businesses that have international ties, school affinity/identity clubs, and other various street vendors. Downtown streets are closed and there are kid activities as well as extended hours for the brick and mortar buildings.
