Join the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra at the Hilbert Circle Theatre for an abbreviated performance of classical music! Conductor Carlos Kalmar brings his skill and talent to the ISO. Afro-British composer Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s works have largely been ignored for several years. His romantic Violin Concerto here features violinist Benjamin Beilman before the ISO pulls out all the stops on Vaughan Williams’ Symphony No. 4.

Special Networking Speaker Program – The Once and Future Afghanistan: What Next?

A Special Networking hybrid program on Thursday, November 4 will feature a panel of young Afghan professionals discussing their past lives; their current situation in the US, Canada and Europe; their family members still in Afghanistan; and their view of the future of their country. This is offered as a virtual zoom program and a live networking event at the home of Indiana Humanities at 1500 North Delaware Street in Indianapolis. 5:30 - 6:30 PM - Networking (in person only) 6:30 - 8:00 PM - Program (hybrid) You may either register as a Zoom attendee or an in-person attendee. Please register for the zoom option here.
