THE INTERNATIONAL CENTER ANNOUNCES 2020 ENGAGING ACROSS CULTURES WORKSHOPS
(INDIANAPOLIS – January 29, 2020) – The International Center has announced the 2020 schedule for its new Engaging Across Cultures global competency workshops.
The half-day workshops are interactive and designed for all global professionals. Each workshop will feature guest speakers, experts, and staff of The International Center sharing valuable insights and perspectives on intercultural interactions.Upcoming panelists include:
• Randy Diaz, Immigrant Outreach Specialist at the Community Engagement Office, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department
• Arwa Ghalawan, Diversity & Inclusion Representative at Infosys
• Jill McKinney, Director of Global Engagement at Butler University
Workshop attendees can expect to be provided with an overview of dimensions of culture, while acquiring intercultural communication, business etiquette, and protocol tools. The workshop will offer discussion and networking with other globally-minded professionals and culture experts.
Interested attendees are encouraged to choose one of two available dates: April 17 and August 21. Each workshop begins with a networking breakfast at 8:30 a.m. with discussion to follow from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The registration fee of $125 per person includes breakfast and workshop materials.
