Relo Goes Platinum!

The International Center’s Relocation Services department was acknowledged for Platinum Excellence in Service with an award from BGRS, a global talent mobility provider helping companies attract, retain and develop international employees. As a BGRS partner, The Center’s team helps local organizations and companies recruit talent from across the world and find homes for new Indiana residents.

The International Center was recognized as a platinum award winner for Outstanding Performance between July 2019 and June 2020, one of only two network destination service providers to receive the recognition. The Center received 100% positive satisfaction surveys from relocation services clients.

Despite the uncertainty over the past several months, The Center’s relocations team has not paused their excellent customer service for expatriate employees and their families, going above and beyond to ensure safety and minimize confusion for all new Hoosiers. Said one recent transferee from Puerto Rico:

“Carola (Relocation Specialist) and Jayne (Relocation Coordinator) have been really understanding and helpful throughout the process. This pandemic really changed things on how we are used to operating and I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU for being so flexible with me.”

CaSondra Shim, director of relocation services at The International Center, is incredibly proud of her team, including relocation services coordinators Jayne Howarth and Taina Lance and seven relocation specialists across the state. Shim said, “I’m so impressed by our relocation team! This year was a challenge to adapt to a new normal, but our relo team truly rose to the occasion by delivering the highest level of excellence.”
