LUIS FRANCO JOINS THE INTERNATIONAL CENTER’S BOARD OF DIRECTORS
(INDIANAPOLIS – April 21, 2021) – The International Center welcomes a new member to its board of directors: Luis E. Franco, Head Consul at the Consulate of Mexico in Indianapolis.
Mr. Franco was appointed consul at the Consulate of Mexico in Indianapolis in October 2017. Before moving to Indianapolis, he worked as the Head Consul of Mexico in Salt Lake City. Mr. Franco has previously served as the deputy chief of mission at the Mexican Embassy in New Zealand and the Mexican Embassy in Sweden. He has worked a career as a diplomat since 1982, after graduating from the Autonomous University of Mexico and the University of Florence, Italy.
As Head Consul of the Consulate of Mexico in Indianapolis, Mr. Franco provides diplomatic leadership and advocacy to support Mexican citizens in Indiana, Ohio, Illinois and Kentucky. This representation of Mexico’s government was first established in Indianapolis in 2002.
