GRISHIN, MCGANN JOIN INDIANA CHAPTER OF THE FULBRIGHT ASSOCIATION
(Indianapolis – September 29) – Two team members at The International Center were recently selected as board members for the Indiana Chapter of the Fulbright Association.
Leslie Grishin, international visitors program manager, joined The Center’s staff in April of 2019. Glennda McGann has served The Center as development and engagement director since January 2019.
The mission of the Fulbright Association is to advocate for the Fulbright program, an international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government and led by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA). In addition to administering the Fulbright program, ECA leads the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). The International Center is the only organization in Indiana that assists in hosting IVLP participants.
As board members, both Grishin and McGann will assist with engaging alumni, friends, and participants in the Fulbright program throughout Indiana.
Said Leslie Bozeman, president of the Indiana chapter, Fulbright alumna and director of curriculum internationalization at the IUPUI Office of International Affairs, “I’m so pleased to have Glennda and Leslie join the Board of the Directors. They bring valued talents and enthusiasm for international education and cultural exchange.”
