THE INTERNATIONAL CENTER ANNOUNCES STAFF ADDITIONS
(INDIANAPOLIS – January 3, 2023) – The International Center welcomes back two former interns to part-time positions on the team.
Deacon Fountain, a former event intern, joined as the Community Outreach & Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator in December, where he will focus on projects for The Center’s 50th anniversary. Fountain completed his undergraduate studies in Political Science and Geology at Hanover College in 2021 and is now pursuing a graduate degree in International Relations from the University of Indianapolis.
Previously an intern in the relocation department, Cadyn Cox will now serve as the Relocation Services Assistant where she will be involved in supporting international clients as they relocate to Indiana. Cox recently earned her degree in International Studies and French from Indiana University and studied abroad in Stain-Brieuc, France as a student. In addition to her experience at The Center, Cox previously worked as an international services intern for the American Red Cross, where she reunited families separated internationally by conflict disaster.
Martin Baier, president and CEO of The International Center, said, “It is always a pleasure to have former interns stay on at The Center! We are delighted to keep Deacon on board to guide us through our 50th anniversary celebrations and have Cadyn back to support our busy relocations team.”
