THE INTERNATIONAL CENTER NOW ACCEPTING NOMINATIONS FOR THE 2023 GLOBAL IMPRESSION AWARD
(INDIANAPOLIS – May 15, 2023) – The International Center is now accepting nominations for the 2023 Global Impression Award.
Established in 2018, this award celebrates emerging Hoosier leaders whose work directly impacts the global community within Indiana, helping create a vibrant place to live and work while valuing all cultures. Nominations will be accepted from May 15 through June 30.
The three award finalists will be announced later this summer. Finalists and the winner will be recognized at the International Citizen of the Year event honoring the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on October 3.
Last year’s recipient of the 2022 Global Impression Award was Yaza Swe, manager of employment programs for Exodus Refugee Immigration, Inc. Originally from Burma, Swe is also involved with the Burmese American Community Institute (BACI) in Indianapolis and has volunteered as a Natural Helper with the Immigrant Welcome Center.
Former nominees include professionals in a variety of industries, including medicine, education, and civil service. The nomination form should include a current resume and/or CV and/or public LinkedIn profile and press clippings and letters of recommendation if available.
