Maggie Bishop Joins The International Center’s Board of Directors
(INDIANAPOLIS – January 30, 2023) – The International Center welcomes a new member to its board of directors: Maggie Bishop, Air Service Development Manager at Indianapolis Airport Authority.
Bishop serves as the Air Service Development Manager for the Indianapolis Airport Authority (IAA), the governing body of the Indianapolis International. Bishop has supported multiple landmark initiatives including welcoming Alaska Airlines and Spirit Airlines, opening a $40 million Allegiant plane base and securing Indiana’s first transatlantic flight.
Originally from Pearland, Texas, Bishop earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. Prior to joining IAA, Maggie worked in economic development at the Austin Chamber of Commerce.
Bishop was recognized by Aviation Business Magazine as a member of Aviation’s 40 Under 40 in 2018 and is a graduate of the Mitch Daniels Leadership Fellowship and The International Center’s own James T. Morris Global Leadership Series.
