THE INTERNATIONAL CENTER NOW ACCEPTING NOMINATIONS FOR THE 2019 GLOBAL IMPRESSION AWARD
(INDIANAPOLIS – May 15, 2019) – The International Center’s Global Impression Award celebrates emerging Indiana leaders whose work impacts the state on a global scale. Nominations will be accepted May 15 through July 15.
The International Center created the award, now in its second year, to acknowledge the growing number of young leaders advancing Indiana’s global profile. This year’s honoree will be announced at the International Citizen of the Year Award dinner on October 8 at the Indiana Roof Ballroom. Michael Crowther, retiring CEO of the Indianapolis Zoo and founder of the world-acclaimed Indianapolis Prize for animal conservation, is this year’s honoree.
“Our community has been blessed with a staggering number of incredible young leaders, many of whom we, unfortunately, don’t hear about on a daily basis,” said Shash Goyal, director of database engineering at Salesforce Marketing Cloud and member of the Global Impression Award committee. “Recognizing the strides they’re making in our state and around the globe is a small but wonderful way to say ‘thank you’ and to give them the encouragement they need to keep going.”
Nominees should be 42 years old or younger on October 8. The nomination form should include a current resume and/or CV and/or public LinkedIn profile and press clippings and letters of recommendation if available. The three award finalists will be notified in August and invited to attend the award dinner as guests of The International Center.
