THE INTERNATIONAL CENTER NOW ACCEPTING NOMINATIONS FOR THE 2020 GLOBAL IMPRESSION AWARD
(INDIANAPOLIS – June 8, 2020) – The International Center’s Global Impression Award celebrates emerging Indiana leaders whose work impacts the state on a global scale. Nominations will be accepted June 1 through July 15.
The International Center created the award, now in its third year, to acknowledge the growing number of young leaders advancing Indiana’s global profile.
“Our community has been blessed with a staggering number of incredible young leaders, many of whom we, unfortunately, don’t hear about on a daily basis,” said Shash Goyal, senior director of technology operations at Salesforce Marketing Cloud and chair of the Global Impression Award committee. “Recognizing the strides they’re making in our state and around the globe is a small but wonderful way to say ‘thank you’ and to give them the encouragement they need to keep going.”
The winner of the 2019 Global Impression Award was George Srour, co-founder and chief dreamer at Indiana-based humanitarian organization Building Tomorrow. Past nominees include professionals in all industries, including medicine, education and public human service. Nominees should be 42 years old or younger. The nomination form should include a current resume and/or CV and/or public LinkedIn profile and press clippings and letters of recommendation if available.
The three award finalists will be announced on August 24. The date for presentation of the 2020 Global Impression Award has not yet been selected. Additional information about the award and nomination is online at www.internationalcenter.org/icy/global-impression-award.
