Events

DWN will host a Cross-cultural picnic at Broad Ripple Park (most likely) with the intention of bringing people of all cultures together to make positive connections and share culture through food. There will be different ethnic foods, drinks, and desserts representing at least 10 different cultures for attendees to eat. The attendees will also participate in activities such as international trivia, a ‘Find Someone Who’ scavenger hunt, and a cultural games competition. In addition, DWN intends to host a cultural dance demonstration with audience participation. Through these activities, this event aims to create an environment in which cultural similarities and differences are celebrated.
