(former US ambassador to Vietnam). Mr. Miyake will be flying in from Japan and Mr. Shear from Washington D.C. Their topic will be “Where Goes the Neighborhood: Japan and the Rise of Asia”.

Kuni Miyake, will be coming directly from a national broadcast in Tokyo; and the other, David Shear, former Ambassador to Vietnam, will be traveling from Washington, D.C.
The Indiana Council on World Affairs in partnership with the Japan-America Society of Indiana is offering this special “Japan Update” sponsored by the Sasakawa Peace Foundation and the National Association of Japan-America Societies.
This certainly will be a lively conversation between these two well-known career diplomats who have both served in their respective countries’ foreign services for peace in Asia.
