Dr. Lyudmyla Kruhlenko – “Teaching Through Crisis: Empowering Ukrainian Women and Girls in Higher Education”
About: Tuesday, April 22nd from 9:15 – 10:00 a.m. via Zoom. Dr. Kruhlenko is an Associate Professor of ESL/EFL and Multicultural Education/Pedagogy at Pryazovskyi State Technical University. PSTU has been displaced from Mariupol to the Ukrainian city of Dnipro due to the Russian invasion. Dr. Kruhlenko is a globally recognized leader in intercultural communication, and her research covers trauma sensitive insights about what she and her colleagues are learning from the war as educators. At the University of Bamberg (Germany) Dr. Lyudmyla Kruhlenko is a postdoctoral researcher at the department of English and American Studies and works in the project “Young German Learner English”.
