In an effort to support peace and democracy in Myanmar (Burma), the Burmese American Community Institute (BACI) in partnership with co-hosts and collaborators, will be hosting the 3rd Spring Flowers International Conference on Myanmar from February 7 to 10, 2024. The conference will bring together local, national, and international actors from diverse backgrounds. Its outcome will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction and vision of the Myanmar democracy movement and the future of Myanmar as we contribute to building a democratic and federal Union of Myanmar. The conference objectives are:
- Promoting critical analysis and deeper understanding of the challenges Myanmar is currently facing,
- Achieving common understanding of the challenges and opportunities in forging a strong and unified response to help resolve the conflict in Myanmar and in developing strategies and approaches to building a new Myanmar, and
- Bringing together stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, including elected representatives, government officials, international non-governmental organizations (NGOs), civil society organizations (CSOs), rights groups, media, academics, to achieve a unified vision and strategy through substantive policy discussions, expert panels, and debates.
The program will include (1) keynote speeches, (2) expert panels, (3) panel presentations of academic papers, and (4) roundtable discussions. Musical and cultural performances will also be featured.
Expert panels are expected to cover the following topics: humanitarian assistance including health, education, the Myanmar constitution development and intuitional reforms, human rights
and religious freedom, ways to strengthen unity for a New Myanmar and the role of the international community achieving real change in the Southeast Asia nation.
This hybrid event – both virtual and in-person – will draw hundreds of youths, students and friends of Myanmar from around the world. Some sessions will be live-streamed.

We are still inviting additional sponsors for the conference and Union Day celebration.
Sponsor logos will be placed in the event flyer and poster. The flyer in electronic form will be sent to approximately 2,500 recipients in Indianapolis and around the state, country, and world. Print copies of the flyer and poster will be distributed to local businesses, non-profit organizations, community and health centers, and churches in central Indiana. The event flyer/poster will also be displayed on our Facebook event page and in other social media pages through our networks.
Sponsors will be acknowledged verbally in the conference ceremonies and their logos will be displayed in PowerPoint slides shown during the conference. We will also acknowledge our sponsors in all engagements with press and media during the event and post-event media activities.

Diamond ($3000 and above), Platinum ($2000-$2999), Gold ($1000-1999), and Silver ($500-
$999): Banner/sign with your business/university/organization’s name and logo will be displayed in the flyer, on the backdrop of the conference, in PowerPoint slides during the conference, in the conference program, and on the conference website. The location and size of the logo will vary according to the sponsorship level.
Bronze ($250-$499): Your logo will be displayed in the flyer and in PowerPoint slides during the conference.
