Join us for food, fun, music, networking, career opportunities and socializing with the most talented multi-cultural professionals in Central Indiana! An event years in the making, Soul, Salsa & Sushi has become the multi-cultural event of the year in Indianapolis; and continues to serve a diverse community of professionals!
Conceived to further the continuing relationship between the Indianapolis Chapter of the National Black MBA Association; Prospanica (formerly known as the National Society of Hispanic MBAs) and the Asian American Alliance; Soul, Salsa & Sushi is a networking/social event designed to bring together African-American, Hispanic and Asian professionals, to celebrate their individual heritages, their common goals and to foster a climate of sharing and collaboration.
The inaugural event was held at the Madame C.J. Walker building in downtown Indianapolis in May of 2009, and drew a crowd of approximately one hundred minority professionals. As that first event was coming to an end, our attendees were already asking about the next one!
Soul, Salsa & Sushi is marketed to the members, friends and colleagues of the partnering organizations, as well as to the community at-large, who in turn distribute the information, flyers, etc. to their respective vast network of contacts.
To date, the ten previous events have attracted well over 1,200 attendees. The 2024 event, scheduled for Thursday, September 12 at Barnes & Thornburg in downtown Indy, will mark the 15th anniversary of Soul, Salsa & Sushi.
