The Indiana-Germany Business Council, Inc. is a newly founded, non-profit initiative with a mission to strengthen the bilateral business, public, and educational ties between the State of Indiana and the Federal Republic of Germany.

Conductor Jun Märkl and singers from the IU School of Music will perform the heartbreakingly beautiful Act III of Puccini’s Madama Butterfly. Mayumi Miyata, Japanese player of the shō, performs traditional Gagaku, a type of Japanese classical music, as well as being a featured soloist during Japanese composer Hosokawa’s Cloud and Light.
