Holi is a cultural celebration that takes place all throughout India that involves color throwing, dancing, and so much more. And on March 18, 2017, we are excited to bring the same celebration that occurs all throughout India to our Butler University campus.
The color throw will take place in the afternoon from 1:00-4:00 PM on the North and South Jordan Mall Lawn. This event will consist of various cultural performances, food, color throwing, and dancing.
You will be provided with one 100 gram bag of color when you arrive to the event, but there will be additional color bags for sale for $3 each.
During the color throw it is heavily encouraged that you wear white, and clothes that you wouldn’t mind getting dirty.
Community tickets are $5, and with the ticket you obtain admission to color throw in the afternoon. You can purchase tickets using the links posted on this page, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, the Butler App, our community tickets booths.
Holi is known as one of the biggest parties of the year throughout India, and we are proud that we get to bring the party here to Butler! So come join SASA for what will be the event of the year!
