Celebrate World Citizen Day
As a friend of The International Center, your commitment to global engagement in Indiana continues to set the example for world citizenship. You have taken the time to learn, invest, and participate in a global Indiana – for the betterment of our entire community.
On Monday, July 27, we are honoring World Citizen Day: a day that celebrates individual rights, recognizes world citizens, and reflects on what it means to be a world citizen. On World Citizen Day, we are celebrating people like you and the opportunities for global citizenship you have supported through The International Center.
This summer, The International Center is inviting you to join us in a Day of Giving, celebrating World Citizen Day by supporting the initiatives that open the door for global engagement to everyone.
Your donation to The International Center will help us:
Introduce World Citizens to Indiana through our International Visitor Leadership Program. In partnership with the U.S. Department of State through Global Ties U.S., The Center’s International Visitor Leadership Program facilitates industry-specific delegations of international professionals to Indiana. This program facilitates meaningful exchanges on key topics like excellence in higher education, agricultural technology, and women in entrepreneurship.
Prepare emerging World Citizens to succeed through our award-winning paid Internship Program. This in-person program introduces emerging professionals to life and work in Indy while providing personalized, culturally competent career development to members of the emerging workforce who will contribute to Indiana’s talent pipeline long-term.
Continuously support World Citizens with country-specific briefings, flag services, and culturally informed event management services for visiting delegations. The International Center’s Office of Protocol serves as a reliable, centralized hub of international learning and resources for globally engaged community partners across Indiana.
