CHINESE NEW YEAR GALA

The annual Indy Chinese New Year Gala is the most important culture event held by ICCCI, and is the largest Chinese New

Year celebration in central Indiana. Since the debut of the event in 1996, it has been help continuously for 27 years.

Key activities include Chinese traditional folk dance, the well-loved dragon dance, songs, martial arts presentation, Taichi,

Chinese traditional instrument, and crosstalk. ICCCI also host children’s carnival before stage performance, where family can

learn and joy Chinese traditional games. In all, it’s wonderful event for local community to get together to celebrate Chinese New

Year and to learn, enjoy and sustain Chinese culture and tradition, and to celebrate diversity of Hoosier state.
