Now in its third year, the Cultural Diversity Drum, Song, and Dance Concert will welcome drummers and dancers from Uganda, India, Puerto Rico, Nigeria, Turkey, Kenya, Mexico, and the United States. Each group’s performance will be interactive, engaging, and educational.
Shifting Ideas Through Education for African Women, Inc. (SITEAW, INC) raises money to sponsor girls and women in school so they may survive oppressive traditions, trafficking, and premature marriage in Uganda and Kenya. SITEAW, INC gives back to the Indianapolis community by sharing their cultural drum rhythms, songs, and dances to bring joy that unites us.
Donations will be accepted to sponsor SITEAW girls in school.
