This will be an opportunity for community members to connect, share stories, and honor the cultural richness of the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. At 8:45 p.m., attendees will gather for a group walk to Monument Circle after the reception. We will experience “Shining A Light” – a captivating light and sound show projected on the AES building. This multimedia presentation will illuminate the history, accomplishments, and journey of Asian Americans in Indiana, showcasing their profound contributions to the cultural tapestry of our state. The reception and Shining A Light show are FREE.
This event allows everyone to unite as a community, celebrate the heritage, and recognize the invaluable contributions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in Indiana.
