The Fonseca Theatre Company exists to amplify the voices of and celebrate the underrepresented communities of Indianapolis through the prism of purposeful theater and civic engagement. The goal is to create and support inclusive programs that serve to inspire conversation, inform our community, and illuminate the beauty and the challenges of the world around us.
Rice and Beans are a healthy, beloved dish that connects many different cultures around the world. We will work with some of Indy’s best restaurants to serve up rice and beans dishes from around the world. As folks enjoy the variety of flavors, they will also be treated to live music, arts and crafts, and a variety of outdoor events. The festival will take place in FTC’s back lot that opens to the beautiful Haughville Park where folks can enjoy a basketball court, water feature, picnic tables, and more.
