The Music of La Casa Azul in partnership with the Consulate of Mexico in Indianapolis will be presented one night only at The Palladium at the Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel, Indiana on August 5, 2023 at 7 PM! This special concert version of the theatrical musical will be performed by the Carmel Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Artistic Director Janna Hymes and will feature a cast of local singers and dancers from the Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre. Directing the vocals is Tammy Anderson with production direction by NYC Director and Playwright Georgina Escobar.
The award-winning musical featuring original music by Gregory Glade and lyrics by Kate Ayers and Gregory Glade was inspired by the life of Mexican Artist Frida Kahlo and has received critical acclaim for its former theatrical productions.
