Vice President of Programs and Services, The International Center
Ashley Eason joined The International Center in 2017 as Vice President of Programs and Services, where she oversees relocation services, global competency training, and the Office of Protocol. She serves as a Board Member of the Indiana Council on World Affairs, as well as an Advisory Board Member for the America China Society of Indiana.
Prior to relocating to Indianapolis, she served as Regional Outreach Director at the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC) in Washington, DC. At USGLC, Ashley directed an advocacy network of business, civic, non-profit, and retired military leadership across four Midwest states to demonstrate support for the U.S. International Affairs Budget. She also served as Global Outreach Coordinator at Hope Presbyterian Church in Cordova, Tennessee, where she managed international partnerships, logistics and training for humanitarian service trips in Mexico, Kenya, Ecuador, Russia, Costa Rica, and Honduras. In addition, Ashley has spent time abroad as a student and intern including one year in Moscow, Russia and a summer in Brussels, Belgium.
Ashley received her Master of Arts in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University’s School of International Service in Washington, D.C., and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Ashley is a native of Plano, Texas, and resides in Indianapolis with her husband, Andrew.
